06 Feb 2016 Plans for £60m leisure, health and science complex in Llanelli gather pace

Carmarthenshire Council is leading the Delta Lakes proposal for a leisure centre alongside other health-related facilities.

Those facilities would include life science research and a clinical trials programme, as well as the possibility of occupational therapy, primary care medical services, day centre facilities and a hydrotherapy pool, among others.

A regional health programme called Arch, comprising Swansea University and the area's two health boards, is supporting the proposed development.
